TEAM DELCADO JOINS THE DELROY FAMILY.

After 30 years of growing avos and trying every day to grow them better, we wanted to share our Delcados with some of Australia’s best chefs so they could give them a test run. You know, those kitchen gurus who really do know a better avocado when they taste one.

We like to call them Team Delcado – ok that may be a little cheeky. The fact is we are totally humbled to have these chefs and cooks try our avos, love them, and share their favourite Delcado dishes with us. Each of their Delcado recipes has been carefully created to showcase the deliciously rich, smooth and nutty taste of our uniquely slow-grown Delcado Hass.

Mark Best
Mark started out as a sparkie in the goldfields of Western Australia before cutting his teeth on the burgeoning Sydney food scene in the 1990s. He’s hands down one of Australia’s best chefs and has won more awards than you can poke a stick at. Mark’s cooking aims to celebrate Australia’s extraordinary fresh produce and he’s has created a couple of knock-out Delcado dishes – Delcado Chiffon Cake anyone?

Justine Schofield
Since her time on MasterChef, Justine has spent the past decade on our screens inspiring Australians to be everyday gourmets. As the author of three cookbooks, she’s up for a recipe challenge and we reckon she’s mailed it with her Delcado Hummus.

Simon Toohey
Fresh from this year’s MasterChef Back to Win, Simon has made a name for himself as the King of Veggies. He’s seriously passionate about plant-based eating and sustainable farming. We’ve got a lot in common, so, it was a no brainer to get Simon to whip up some Delcado dishes. Check them out. It’s hard to go past his Epic Crunchy Potato Rosti with Delcado and Spiced Kewpie.

Tom Walton
Tom won a legion of fans with the deliciously healthy food he serves up at Bondi’s iconic Bucket List cafe. He’s passionate about health and wellness, and most importantly, he loves an avo. Tom’s dished up some great twists on the classics. Just wait until you taste his Delcado and Prawn Fried Rice or Japanese Delcado Guacamole

Callum Hann
Callum first appeared on MasterChef at just 20, taking a break from his Uni studies of Mechanical Engineering and Sports Science (we reckon cooking sounds like better fun too). The fan favourite went on to appear in another two MasterChef series, run a successful Adelaide cooking school and is about to open his second restaurant. We’re chuffed Callum has managed to squeeze in some time to try our Delcados and create a Teriyaki Eggplant with Delcado, Edamame and Sesame Salad. Sounds fancy but give it a crack. It’s gloriously good.
